Saw this the other day looked a lovely restoration not sure what model it is though. Very trustworthy....

After Googling I think it is a TF 21 Mulliner Park Ward DHC from around 1966 has anyone any idea of it's value?

Barefoot - I grew up in Lytham - Mum still there.

You're not part of Moore's builders are you?

Yes, it's a TD21. Nicer than the later ones, if you ask me.
I routinely leave my XJS on the streets of Limoges with the top down but I've never left change all over the seat...

Couldn't be a sixties model as it would have had a letter suffix - for 1966 I think it would be a C or D (the letter changed every August). My father had a TA21 into which he later dropped a refurbished TC21 Grey Lady engine which was more powerful.

ETA. Memory failure - it would have had to be a D - and the year letter changed every January then. paperbag

Did you used to have a TVR Taimar? White with brown band and roof. If so I bought it from Moorland Motors in Poulton in 1982.

That was my brothers..... He spent a fortune on it after John Ward from Weaton smacked his arse in his Taimar Turbo. After lots of mods and putting triple webers on it ended up a little bit quicker than John's down the M55! How long did you keep it?

I kept it for four years. I blew the bottom end out, so had it bored out and balanced with a different cam. I took the webers off, and put a rejetted standard carb on it. It then ran a lot better, and a bit quicker.
I sold it to a chap from St Annes (I think he was part of the Whiteside taxi family), and he crashed it. I've been looking for a nice Taimar recently, and will buy if I find the right one. It would go well with my Griffith 500!

Not in person, no, but you've been very kind to people close to me over the years so thank you for that, it's appreciated from afar.

When I am next up I'll pop in and say hello if that's OK and we can talk motors over a pint in the Shovels.

Nightflight it was a bit of a beast that was for sure in its day! Shame it got written off I think a Taimar with a 500 would be a perfect match good luck with your search please post something if you find one.

Look no further than Aeromotive in Birstal. They've a stunning fully rebuilt by them black SE coming up for sale soon. It really is top notch.
