Before anyone else gets in, yes it was me on the M25 with the front tyre blow-out. Then on the recovery wagon back towards Pompy.
As a point of interest the whole affair was very sedate and completely without drama. No wrestling with the wheel or pulling to one side.
Starting at about 80, steering felt ‘strange’, smell of rubber, pull over, call AA, call Ultima and order new tyre.
Get home and cry in beer.

Wow your not being smiled upon by the God of all thing automotive Steve, its one thing after another.
Hang in there, I had a load of teething problems (still got some now) and the wait will be worth it.
Did you manage to get your car on the AA trailer without them scraping the floor? When I broke down it took 3 transporters before they found the 'right' one, which was a specialist tilt and slide that actually lifted off the whole rear body.
Glad to hear that no damage was done to either the bodywork or the rim, as with tyres going, you don't always have the opportunity not to cause damage.

No damage from the blow or recovery.
The wagon that turned up was a slide bed and only required a couple of strips of wood to ease the transition onto the bed.
