My dad has got a Range Rover Sport HSE for the week, and he's thinking about buying one, how bad are the running costs on these? Anybody got an experience with these?

I have an 09 TDV8 sport

It does 25mpg average but is rarely used in town
When it snowed and it was commuted I saw just under 20

Sevicing is strictly yearly
Which is a drag - especially as my own car has a service indicator like BMW's confused
First one was 350, 2 year one was 500 quid

Tyres 140-200 squid a corner
Im looking to get 20-25k from a set

Other costs negligible as far as I can remember

Ive had mine 2 1/2y and am very very happy

Try www.rrsport.co.uk

He's mostly worried about the fuel and tyre cost, but I don't think they're that expensive. Thanks for the help smile
