Dent man required

My impreza has somehow managed to dent itself whilst sitting in the garage. Its a door ding (2 in fact) that I must have missed when I sorn'd it back in 2009. Most people wouldn't worry but I like the sides of the car to be smooth and not represent a large dose of cellulite.

Will a dent magician be able to sort it to very near perfection or should I stump up getting it sent to a body shop? If a magician will be ok, anybody know a good one that covers the southeast, namely near Rye?







i know a bodyshop may seem daft for just a door ding but it stands out a country mile, the rest of the car is spotless and im very anal about dents

Most door dings can be repaired by a dent man but it depends on a few things whether or not the repair can be perfect. Skill of the guy doing it, access to the dent, is the dent heavy on a feature line? Is the paint split? Some small dings can be 'pulled' then worked back down.

its two vertical little dings right next to each other (inch high, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch apart). You can only see them when looking along the body. Theyre right slap bang in the largest flat bit of the door.

As long as the paint is not damaged a good dent man should be able to repair your average door ding to perfection.I live in the northwest so cant recommend anyone for you but i have used a guy near me a few times now and the results have always been perfect.

If you had it filled and painted that would probably show up more than the dents!

I know a bloke that does paintless dent removal in the Ashford area, not sure if he'd go as far as Rye. I'll send you his details.

I'm looking to hire a guy like this for a day as the car is quite bad all over, I don't want to pay by panel I want a whole day!

Then I want to kidnap the dentman and put him in the boot so when I go to the shops he can removed the mouth breather dents while I'm shopping!
