surely a job for gaffa tape. you could even attempt to colour match it if you're feeling posh.

You could round it off and fit a rubber capped grommet, or make it the right size to fit an aerial of some sort.Mind you, I'm assuming the hole is on the outside.
If the car is nice and you want a better repair, headlining out, weld a plate to the back then fill and spray.

Afraid to ask, but how do we know the size of the hamster that could put it's head through the aforementioned hole? Have we tried?

But completely impractical...the hamster will die, start to decompose, and once the skin rots away it'll be too small for the hole and fall out.

Old boat building tip - as long as you dip the hamster in fibreglass resin before insertion, it'll be fine.

Why not feed the hamster with food and water, keep it alive and trapped?

Get a Hamster and he/she can have their own sun roof.

Failing that, cut it square, weld in a piece cut to size, tack it first, then weld it slowly in stages to not build too much heat and distroy the roof, gring the weld back, fill and paint, easy
