My friend bought me a watch back from turkey and the hour hand and date gets stuck when it try's to click over. Just wondering if something like this is a simple thing to fix by myself as I'm pretty good with this type of thing. It's a quarts movement by the way with a date function. Any help would be great thanks

A watch from Turkey huh?

Just return it to the manufacturer via any authorised dealer for repair with proof of purchase and they'll fix it for you.

Does it have a crown that you can set the time and date by or is it all set by pressing buttons? If it's the latter then the first post may be the best way to deal with it hehe, if it's the former then try advancing the time through a 12h cycle so you can see where in the 24h day cycle it is, then set the time properly. It may be where someone in the past has set the date whilst the watch is between around 11pm - 3am, this can cause the hand/date to mis-align or not click over properly.
