Hi all,

My brake lines are looking a bit rusty so I want to replace them - plus this is probably a good time to try some braided hoses and refresh the fluid. I see this: http://www.autolinkmx5.com/brake-pipe-rear-crossme...

But it looks like its just a portion of the piping - can anyone suggest where to get the right parts? I've looked at mx5parts, autolink and performance5.

I saw this: http://www.performance5.com/brake_lines.asp
But it looks like its just some very expensive braided hoses. £70!

Brake pipes are usually "made up" by removing the old ones then bending the new pipe to a similar shape, bit of an art tbh. As for flexies just measure the originals and get some braided the same length.

Just done mine this afternoon. £15 for kunifer brake pipe & £4 for the nuts (M10 x 1). You need to beg, borrow or steal a flaring tool to do the ends as well.
You could get them ready made from MX5parts for £60 ish.
