back on the road after too many years (with some help)
Discussion
For those who don't know, Steven is a wood-botherer, not a mechanic or bodywork type and he bought this car with a front end that had been rearranged by intercourse with roadside furniture or another vehicle, I forget which... anyway he acquired a replacement nosecone and grafted it on and I'll tell you what, I've seen worse jobs from bodyshops. He assures me there's a join line but I can't see it. He also took most of the rest of the car apart to restore (apart from the chassis as I recall, which is like new, and that's not exaggerating). He bought the car around the time his son was born, the lad is now approaching his GCSEs so it's fair to say there was no rush job going on
There must be a category in the BBWF prizes that allows for that level of dedication

Cheers Dixie, very pleased to see thing are coming right for the BBWF, as for been back, you know whats it's like being a young good looking executive busy, busy, busy
Wedg1e you know that without your kick start it would still be in my garage. Cheers
Unfortunately I also took the chassis apart too and had it sand blasted and repainted, so rebushed the lot, thats why it looks new.
I would do it all again but a bit quicker
Thanks for all your kind words.
A few more pics
