I'm playing with electrics at the mo and am looking at where to place an aerial and what sort of door pin switch for the interior lights to buy.

Have bought a few switches from ebay but am not keen on the quality, what are others thoughts door switches? Are the ebay ones as good as anywhere? Couldn't find any on CBS...

Also, aerials for the head unit. Only details I've foun have been on Stigs buildsite, what experiences have others had with aerial types and the reception they give? Is a standard rubber flexi one as good as it gets?

Cheers

Can you still get those under dash aerials. They use to be pretty good for what they were.

Plastic cars are a nightmare for decent reception. I put a Sony DAB head unit in mine and that worked quite well.

The sound system is in the back. Why add another?

What about the "sharks fin" types as seen on late model 5-series BMWs etc? You think that could look ok on an Ultimas roof?
