HI all, i started polishing my bonnet as there are quiet a few deep gel scratches on it, so i thought with the deep scratches i would start with a light rub down with rubbing compound, then carry on polishing with mer polish, then finish with a quick wax. however, once i had finished with the polishing i had noticed that there were lots of little lighter scratches left in the paint work frown please help me get my paint work back in tip top condition!! any help at all would be greatly apprieciated smile

thanks BAZ

You need a finer polish & softer foam pad to refine those light scratches.
Alternatively use a filler-heavy product to mask them.
Autoglym Super Resin, Dodo Juice Lime Prime, Bilt Hamber Cleanser will all have smaller abrasives to deal with the light scratches.
BH provides pad and microfiber cloth - so that might swing it, but the others are good too.

After the Bilt Hamber?
No, LP is an alternative, as is AG SRP, to Cleanser.
It leaves a protection film behind, and has fillers - SRP is also filling, but needs topped with EGP to give a decent period of protection.
If you wanted to, you could put a wax on after buffing the Cleanser.
There's Hydro (liquid carnauba) and Finis by BH, or any of the numerous others from everybody else.
