Multi car insurance

Can anyone please recommend a company for multi car insurance? I have an SP30 and a claim, both dating back to 2009. I have 8 years no claims accumulated on 1 vehicle, and nothing for the recently purchased second vehicle.

Any help appreciated.

I have tried the insurers with the large grey animal, and the other one that is not quite sure. Both are intent on extracting my testicles via my wallet.

Admiral and Direct Line are the obvious choices, but your better of googling insurers that do it and seeing what you get.

I think Hertiage do multi car policies.

Admiral have been very good for me, added a GTV V6 to my multicar, cost an extra £88 a month as got a rebate on the other two...

For a 24 year old (5years no claims) with 25 year old gf (4 years no claims) the following cars come to just over £1k a year

99 GTV V6

With 2 cars multi-car policies may not work too well.

In your position I went with Elephant who simply mirrored my NCB to the 2nd car. Best price I could get by far.

I have three cars and have tried several but they all work out more than insuring them separately, possibly because I have 17 years NCB between them.

Lancaster insurance do multicar I think. Renewed a 4.5 cerbera yesterday for £246.00 (£273.00 last year) comprehensive. 44, 2yr NCB, no points, no accidents. I called them to check it wasn't a mistake and they assured me it's right. Joke is they quoted me £600 for a 14 year old Ford Explorer last month.

Broadsure are also worth a call.

I am in the process of switching ove from Elephant at present to bring all 5 under one policy, I get this through Paceward. It gives a good overall premium, better than insuringthem separately, probably get the advantage though weight of numbers!

Just my 2p worth. I had been with admiral multicar, but now gone back to individual policies as it saved 159 quid.

As with all insurers, Admiral multi-car will try to screw you at renewal time.

When the Admiral multi-car renewal form comes in, you can still get cheaper individual quotes from Admiral online even using your own name & address, then phone up for them to match those quotes AND remove 10% for multi-car discount.

Its a bit of a faff but end result is in my experience Admiral multi-car does end up being the cheapest around.
