Hi folks

Just forwarding this on if it is of any interest to people planning on going to Ireland or interested in this event.

I think this maybe a TVRCC only event, but please contact the email address below for any inquiries.

Thanks!

Alex

It is highly unusual (unprecedented, actually) for me to send an e-mail direct to everyone but a very interesting event is being planned in Ireland for Sun July 31st that I wanted to let you all know about - in case anyone was thinking of a weekend/summer holiday in Ireland in the near future. A shame to miss this one if you or your members were!

Adare Manor Castle hotel, Co Limerick over on the west coast is hosting the inaugural Irish Festival of Speed event on Sunday 31st July. Adare Manor is one of Ireland's leading 5 star hotels situated in its own 840 acres of parkland and woodland and is an ideal Goodwood equalling venue for a Festival of Speed event.

TVR Car Club RoI and Northern Ireland will be in attendance. The aim of the event is to create an "Irish Goodwood Festival of Speed". There is actually some historical provenance to such an event as back in the 1930s 5 Grand Prixs were run round and through Limerick city.

This event promises to have something for everyone - see attractions listed below.

TVRCC will have a club parking/display area and we will be taking part in the Track demonstrations - 5 laps of the track.

Please forward to your members and if anyone is interested please let them have my e-mail address ro@tvrcc-ireland.co.uk
