e90 318i mpg?

Has anybody got any real world experience with the mpg on these with town driving? i have read a couple of reports of 25mpg that cant be correct surely my saab 9-5 aero gets 25 easily around town.

Sorry. Misread the header and thout it said 318mpg. Was gonna be impressed.

Around town it is 25/26 mpg in auto. Is your saab manual?

Depends how you drive it. I took one for a short (5 mile) drive and including the all the time it spent manoeuvring around the car park and in and out of the garage it did over 30mpg through town and a dual carriageway.

There is plenty of real world data available on sites like www.spritmonitor.de. There is a button to put it in English but you still need to convert from l/100km to mpg.

A quick search reveals that the average seems to be about 34mpg and the worst (which seems to be all in town) is 28.
