Hello all,

I am currently in the middle of trying to replace all the old worn out bushes with poly bushes on my car, however have come across a slight problem trying to remove the old bushes from the front upper wishbone.

Doing the lower was easy enough with a long threaded rod and some sockets to pull the bushes out, however the upper wishbone bent when i tried this!

Now i have tried a few methods on the bent wishbone, seeing as it won't be used again, but i still can't get the buggers out.

One way i was told was to heat them up, knock the center out then cut the metal sheef that is left in half and it should just knock out.......it doesn't.

Any ideas how i can get these out?

The last resort is usually with fire, burn the rubber out completely and the metal centre will just fall out.

Where did you get your poly bushes from?

I got them from FloFlex

I have just found out, if i can find a flat piece of metal, i should be able to pull them out with the bolt, or even better get use of a vice a bit more and push em out!
