Stuttgart and surrounding area

I'm off to Stuttgart for the weekend - does anyone have any recommendations for stuff to do in the area? I have a car, so I can travel a bit.

Also, any tips on where to stay on Saturday night? Pretty cheap and with parking would be good!

Mercedes and Porsche museums. Not to be missed.

Yep, they are on the list - I'm also planning on going to Sinsheim so I think I have cars covered!
