I thought it was about time we got round to sharing our photos from the recent tech session.

I'll start by saying thanks to Pete, once again, for a great day of tuition. Although if anything it only proved that i don't really have the patience for setting up a full rig shot and going over it time and time again to get the perfect shot.

I'd much rather leave that to someone else and swoop in at the last minute and take advantage of their hard work (thanks Lee & Karen!)

As a result I'm not particularly pleased with any of the rig shots taken in the morning using the DS3, but i know for a fact that Lee and Karen got some excellent shots - so i'll let them take care of that.

I did manage to steal Pete away for 20 minutes in the afternoon to help take a few shots with the magic arm though and I'm quite pleased with what we achieved.

While messing about in the multi-story we took advantage of a huge puddle to get some reflection shots.

And then someone let us borrow their SLS for an hour or so, I’ve got more of these to edit so will post them when they’re done.

Considering we didn’t spend a huge amount of time on lighting I think we did alright!

Hindsight being what it is i'm a little dissappointed we didn't make better use of the SLS to learn some interior lighting techniques but i realise the desicion to setup exterior shots was our own, so i've only got myself to blame for that.
