Thanks for the link, loved that drag race, the way the M600 was making up that ground near the end was awesome, it wasnt just creeping up on them, it was almost comical they way it was our accelerating the other supercars, i can not believe they based there results/figures on only one race, that is crazy and just wrong.
This is what i was trying to make a point of on the other thread, these performance figures on paper just dont tell the full story and don't exactly translate to real life racing scenarios, most races i have had are from 100kmh up and what about overtaking speed, lets have a test that show how these cars go from 70mph up when a gear is already selected.
Also each car had a different driver, it looked like the M600 driver messed up on a gear change, plus if you were to do the same race 3 times it may have given different results.
It annoys me when they do tests like this and post results as if they are in any way conclusive, it is far from a scientifical approach, maybe the M600 driver got drunk out of his brains the night before, maybe the driver had not practiced the M600 launch previously, there are too many variables and unknowns.
There is one russian guy over here with a 997TT who has gone through 3 gearboxes doing launches, maybe the other manufacturers did not want to allow a best of 3 because they are worried about things breaking and creating bad PR, it would be interesting to see which car would prove to be more robust after several launches, and had the fastest average.
You know after seeing the M600 next to the other cars and seeing how it pulled like a steam train, i do not see that these results are a negative for the M600, numbers/results on paper in a magazine don't tell the full story, after watching the vid the M600 for me was a clear winner, and you know what the styling is growing on me, i am gradually managing to shed the negative images of the baby blue M600 out of my head.
The car looks amazing from the front and 1/4 angle if they could just tweak that rear view.

My friend was showing me a gear change system that you can fit aftermarket to any car with flappy paddles and claims ridiculously fast gear changes, he was also saying it is a system that they fit to alot of production cars, not sure if there is anything in it or not, but i will try and get the link to see what people think.
