I am having issues with high water temperatures (which seems to be common!) that keep climbing when stationary. This has not always been an issue.

I found one of the fans connections was corroded (and hence not coming on) so have replaced but the issue is still there! I have checked coolant level and it does not appear to be leaking. My next step was going to be to bleed the system. I have checked on PH and can’t find how to do this!

I have had a quick look at my radiator and cant see any bleed valves... I have also heard jacking the front up helps... any advice on how to bleed the system would be great!

Vertical or Horizontal radiator ?
Horizontal one has a small 4mm allen key bolt on the Top RHS of the rad (when looking at the car nose, standing in front of it).

I've read this many times now but am yet to find this bleed port...

Is it on the rad. itself or are you talking about the one in the hoses to/from the rad??

With the horitontal rad in the Sag, there appear to be two bleed screws (6mm allen key bolts) on the stainless steel pipes just before, and just after, the black rubber pipes into and out of the rad... can;t for the life of me get them to budge tho :grrrrrrr:

If there is a bleed screw on the rad, gawd knows how I'm meant to get to it in the Sag... I need one of those Borrower people to crawl in on my behalf !!

Try loosening the bleed bolts a smidge when the radiator is hot.
