I know that the Ferrari Owners Club and the Porsche Club GB are attending this event so some guys will be attending but it looks to be a cracking day so thought some PHers may be making the trip.

Event is at Balvaird Farm, near Glenfarg Perthsire KY14 7SR from 1000-1800 and entry is 10 quid per car.

From what I can gather it will be a bit like the Supercar Paddock at the Knockhill Motorshow only bigger with a lot of OC attending, including Ferrari AM Posrche Rolls Royce Bentley TVR and Jaguar and also some of the high end dealers putting up displays, including Graypaul, Murray, Stratstone Russell Paterson and Topgear.

There is also other none car related stuff; but this is PH!

Edit: Maybe a good stop for any HHers returning home?
Anyway - me and the boy will be going through and depending on what car we take I could offer a couple of passenger seats (if I take the Landy or Merc) or a bit of a spirited drive convoy to get there (if I take the 911) driving.

Expressions of interest can be recorded in the usual PH Ecosse Fashion. cool

In the past couple of years I haven't made it home with out having the lights on.

2 years ago we only left the green welly stop at around 6pm
Last year we all left Tain around 4pm and weren't home until at least 10pm.

We dont take direct routes home.

Thanks for starting this off Barry...

My good friend Mark Ryan and I have arranged all of the fantastic cars attending this event, we should have circa £10millions worth present, also there will be many one off specials & classics and don't worry if it rains as these are all to be displayed under cover in newly built storage sheds.

As Barry rightly says there are many other attractions planned, but this is a PH forum, however, one which might be of interest is a comp to win a new BMW 1 Series, there's loads to do and see so bring friends and families along and enjoy the day, if it's a success we plan to make this an annual meet - isn't it time Scotland had it's own take on the Festival of Speed!!!

As Mark and I are serious Petrolheads we will be delighted to assist or chat cars with anyone on the day, Mark's yellow Ferrari 360 Spider, will be on display, as will my Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M in blue...its the only 16M in Scotland, 1 of 499 Worldwide, it should be sitting next to Syd's Enzo..and you just must see my friends Bentley Racer that's coming along....it's a sight to behold. We also have 4 RR Woody's coming...this will be the 1st time all have been together in one place....loads more surprises will be there for you all to enjoy!!!

If you can come along I hope you have a fantastic day!!!

Where else are you advertising this event because a google search only seems to bring you back to this site. PH will probably delete this topic as advertising so I was wondering if you have a dedicated site to promote the event

Hi Doug

We don't have a dedicated site, it has been in the local press, it's on Crails Facebook as well as being run on Radio Tay and Forth and an onslaught of media has been aranged for the week prior to the event...loads of word and mouths being done also, we have banners going up ll round the area next week and its also on twitter etc, so hopefully they all combine to do the trick this year and we haveplenty on the day, doubtless we'll all learn lessons for the next one!

I am also awaiting PH's agreement to support this event & run it on their home page....

Any spreading you can do will be great also!!!

All the best
Peter

Peter - this might sound like a daft question, but since you’re here … am I okay to bring the dog along for the day?

Most car shows are fine with dogs wandering about, but those with motorsport connections often prefer to say no. It’s better to check than to get turned away at the gate!
