Unless the contract says otherwise, I suspect the answer is yes. You signed a contract which you are now trying to get out of with the result of them getting less money out of you. There is no reason for them to make it easy for you.

When did you take out the contract and on what term?
During the life of the contract to date have they provided you with everything they said they would?
