Looked at clutch fluid leak and looks like its the slave cylinder, cant see fluid on any joints etc.only on bottom of gearbox.
1 How do I get hold of Jetstream? (sounds like they are best and nearsest to me Newbury area)
2 any very rough idea of cost?
3 when I change down gear and releasing clutch it makes a noise especially in second (clutch release bearing?)
should i have this done at same time?
4 car is totally standard 12000 miles. Any upgrades i should have done? only one I know is fuel pump wiring.
think I read on here about turbo upgrades to get rid of seals.
4 Is a blow off valve essential?
All help would be very much appreciated as you can probably tell i am no mechanic

The slave cylinder/release bearing are one piece item so just replace it, not sure of cost, less than 200 i think. unless your going for big power I don't think you need to do much, just an exhaust and re-map would do plenty for for you don't touch the turbos unless they need a service/refurb due to leaky seals, BOV isn't necessary but looks sounds good.

If the gearbox is out you would also be advised to change the clutch. I should think you are looking at circa £1500 to £2000 for Jetstream to do the work and supply clutch and cylinder.

Or buy the organic upgrade clutch plate from Jetstream at about £200 and do the work yourself, the best way to learn about the car is to do the work, I've had my engine out 3 times to do various things, saved a fortune and learned a heap!
