Hi,
I am going tomorrow (Chimaera) with a friend in his Chimaera and another with a Cerbera....
Like Garlick mentioned it in his post, I'll be annoyed to find the car full of dust, specially that I have washed her yesterday and polished 1/2 of it this morning before going to work and will do teh rest tonight!
After having the dirtiest TVR at TAG11, I have decided to get my Chimaera a wash and polish... so she'll be the cleanest she'll ever been under my ownership (1 year) and I guess just for a few hours as she'll get covered in dust at Goodwood....
If anyone keen to join, we are leaving tomorrow morning at 7h00!

I just came back - it was ok (ish)....
Got there at 7am (a must - if you arrive later, it will get tedious sitting in queues of traffic). Listened to one guy saying it had taken him 1 hour to do the last 2 miles - sod that!!....
I have been to a few, and this was the only 'one-dayer' I have done. Looking forward to the F1 cars, but they were driven up in the morning as if by old women. No burnouts, no full speed (almost) runs...and for me it was a let down...
Even Mark Webber drove up like a geriatric...
Rest was ace - the Indy cars were good, as was some of the Supercars.
I reckon that the real F1 stars (excluding Webber, of course) that are there Sat and Sun will put on a real show - well, I hope so.
And that is probably the last one dayer I do - weekend next year, with camping on site for me, I reckon....
Nosh
PS - bumped into another Chim at the same campsite as me in Emsworth!! How weird! and his mate had a very nice V8 MG as well...

Just got back! Was excellent!
Arrived at 9am, left at about 2:30 so we escaped any traffic in and out. Nice.
F1 cars did give it some on the hill. All driving arenas were ace, rallying, the hill climb...all brilliant. Although things fly by so quick on the hill, makes you appreciate the likes of the Red Bull Nascar who simply decided that one huge burnout was the best method of attacking the hill climb!
Definitely going nx year but will be camping as it's such a nice atmosphere, I'd like to take a bit more time and chill out a bit more. Saw Garlick's chim in the car park plus another british racing green (I think) one, and a daytona violet (I think) and another reddish/burnt orange 450 chim (Sorry dont know paint colours that well!). All very clean and nice!
The car park was quite the car show actually, lots of lovey machinery parked up.
Favorite part must have been getting up close to the group b rally cars.

Spent all day there today, unfortunately we went up in my other half's C1 though as their was 3 of us. Would have been a lovely day for a TVR outing.
Plenty of exotica on show, and some great drives too, especially the WRC cars! Managed to miss the F1 runs but sounded like there was some burnouts going on.
3 Chimaeras for sale too, at pretty optimistic prices IMHO, but I guess with so much money about its worth a try. Good to see them their though

Pleased to have been spotted
Car was so dusty when I got back to it! Lots of TVR's in the carpark though, was a hot run out in the traffic at the end of the day, uphill too so my clutch leg got a work out.
Good to see Racing Green and Fernies with stands, must say that the paint on the RG Chim wasn't to my taste though, but I'm sure someone loves it.
F1 cars doing burnouts right in front of me was a highlight, as was the noise from the NASCAR thingy
