That is lovely, great colour, love the wheels, would re-spray but in the same colour. Yep, if I had the garage space that would be mine.

With the amount of work that one seems to need £995 is pretty fair - maybe even a little expensive when you bear in mind that you can get a good Excel (mechanically more reliable/less prone to problems) for around £2.5k.

It is a great 70's colour...pretty cool car for less than a grand! It's growing on me....a lot!

an excel for 2500, I'd have one of those much better looking as well.

Don't let Porker-whatever-his-name-is see that, he'll banger race it. With my blessing too. They were horrible to look at when new and they haven't got better with age. IMHO of course!

Blistering is often due to aeration of the GRP allowing air to get under the paint. Personally, looking at this, the restoration cost would massively exceed it's value. The colour is vile. I believe just the front windscreen alloy trims are £600.
