What does £275 buy you these days?

A 1994 VW Passat 2.0 CL.
MOT until next march, electric windows (2 dont work, driver's window flaps about), electric mirrors (not working), sunroof (not working and leaking), a boot (won't open), sagging headlining, bits of trim falling off\missing, the most gutless engine and rubbish MPG.

No not really, but it will do for the next 6 months, just need it do move, which it does. For £275 I can't really complain too much, it was the cheapest car on autotrader when I bought it!

Yep, if it fails its next MOT, I'll just scrap it, should get about 200 for it, so 9 months motoring for 75 quid.

Well it says 95k, but I've no way on knowing. Didn't come with any service history or old MOT's.

Assuming that you've got the existing MOT Cerificate, if you go here, you can check the history of the vehicle through MOTs including the odo readings at the test
