350Wedge's Goodwood Festival of Speed Photo's
Discussion
Seeing as I'm spending all fours days at Goodwood I thought I'd start a thread to show off some of the machinery on offer and whats going on over the weekend.
Today was the moving motorshow and what is the quietest of the four days. Even so it was fairly busy and there was more on offer to do than last year. The rally course had some use and all the normal FOS activities were on the go. No Bowler Wildcats this year giving passenger rides though, they have been replaced with bike engined buggies. Very rapid but nowhere near as good as the Bowlers!!
If anyone else is going and wants to add pics to this thread then please feel free.
Here are todays selection of photo's, as the days go on I will add more so please keep on coming back

The, shall we say "unusual" Indy car is the S-C Corporation 'Hurst Floorshifter Special" from 1964. I think it only ran once, and crashed. To me it looked like a racecar and a sidecar mating. The "main bit" seems to have the fuel tank (protected by a couple of cut out alloy hands, so that's alright then) in front of the engine, at which point the designer realised he'd left no room for the driver. But never mind, I'll just bolt a bit onto the side, that should sort it. There were quite a few open mouths around this on Friday. It was a static display, shame really, I'D have liked to see it on the move.........but from a safe distance, perhaps.
