Thought I would take my Chim along M27 with wobbly bonnet ( see previouse thread) got part way had camera ready as the mileage came up to 29999 and there it stays. Might be a low mileage car for a while now oops hope DVLA etc dont read this. Is it just a case of helping the digits on to the next the next generation or is it totaled? Regards Richard.
some generous tapping while moving encouraged mine to reach 70K.

This is a common issue and I expect most of us have come across it at some point.
If the search function is working try a search as there are many solutions.
The one I remember and worked for me at 39999 was the put the car in reverse, blat along at a fair speed, into 1st / 2nd and all of a sudden the speedo started moving again.
