Is it just me that thinks they're taking the piss with the DLC?

So far we've had the Mk2 Escort, the 5 car pack, the gymkhana-spec Mini, the Monte Carlo tracks, and there's another car pack coming out soon. And the game has been out, what, just over a month? All of which they could've included in the release, but they decided to try and charge us half as much as we paid for the game just for a few add-ons.

DLC so soon redface
I feel like i have only bought half a game.

It should of all been included in the game i just bought.
Especially the sodding car packs.

Fair enough if it's been a few months ..
But i bought it at launch and noticed the locked cars you had to buy...

That's exactly my point. And presumably without the new tracks, you can only play against people online who don't have them either. So in reality you need to buy the new tracks if you want to have full functionality online, as you won't be able to play against the majority of people online.

Like you said, it feels like we've only bought half a game. They're just s.

I am tempted to buy the Mcrae Escort as the proceeds go to charity.

But if you reading this Codemasters you thieving scum you can shove your DLC :-)

I've only bought the Camaro and Focus RallyX because I like them. Haven't looked at buying the Monte Carlo DLC yet, as I don't know whether its worth doing when I still have 50% of the game to complete.

Really do enjoy this game though, and the Rally and Trailblazer stages are by far my favourite and a hell of a lot of fun.

It's way too expensive but I bought it and I love it.

I caved and bought it last night, and I'm rather glad I did. It's an epic bit of road, and really well captured. You can do any of the 8 new bits in daylight, fog or the dark. I think the Col de Turini stage is the whole lot linked together – it takes about 4mins 30 to do the whole thing. There are lots of alpine hairpins to perfect your drifts round, making it hard to resist watching the replay every time…

Bumping an old thread, but would anyone be up for a Monte Carlo rally on the xbox at some point?
