Hi all, any of ya going to be at York drag strip on the 10th July?

Please be aware, the road from Howden to Melbourne was closed at the Melbourne end last weekend

I was there with my camera as usual. The weather tried it's best to cause another rain off but all eliminations, except Air Cooled Eliminator, were completed in the end

Yeah it was a bit damp..struggled for grip first thing, did get better as the day went on.
Just had a look through ya pics and cant believe ya didn`t get one of my Escort!!!!

Promises to be a busy event at the end of August 28/29th.

It looks like i might finally return to the strip for the first time in 21 months!

I havent been for a while myself but i would expect an effort to have been made to the worst of potholes at best.
It is possible for all cars to get on and off site without damage. Just drive slowly and carefully from the entrance to the pits.
