With reference to my previous post, M12 GTO 3R Potential money pit... I have decided to wait till next summer to purchase a top end example, I will try to source one with full extensive service history preferably with below 20K miles and sporting a new set of tyres, breaks disks and pads. If you are thinking of upgrading next summer to say an M400 or if you are just looking to pass the car onto someone who will treat the car with respect as you have, then please have me in mind as a cash purchaser. Current kitty sits at around £22k mark, however aim to have £30K by March 2012 …….. Providing I don’t go to Cheltenham festival again…..

sounds like u had pretty much the same spec request as me, except I wanted no mods too. I bought from main dealer 6 months ago, and glad I did as the only issue I have had is a blown fuse. So can definatley recommend doing the same.
Having said that, if u wanted to save a few bucks from the forecourt price, I will be selling my 3R next summer as the tax loophole I have been exploiting comes to an end and I will have an exceedingly large bill to pay!

Thanks for the reply, sounds like you bagged the very car i am trying to source. I will be more than interested in coming to have a look in about six months when the kitty is at a good level and not wasting your time, as at present I’m only around £22K and would not insult you with that offer for what sounds like a very nice example of a fantastic car.
