Well I am afraid to say the Tuscan has let me down for the first time in over 3 years of ownership.
I am stuck in B&Q carpark and it won't start
Immobiliser switches off, fuel pump primes, turns over but will not start. Only just had it in for a 12000 mile service a few weeks ago so feeling a bit pee'd off, especially as I am parked right in front of the main door too!

It almost fired but now flooded. I left it for 30 mins before trying again. Just called msm insurance breakdown so should be with me within the hour.
A bit weird really, I have had a couple of efi faults recently and left tesco new malden to come to b&q new malden but when I left tesco she struggled to start but fired up, perhaps I shouldn't have stopped the engine before going home especially as they didn't have my item in stock!

The only time mine let me down it had similar symptoms, turned out a temperature sensor had gone, so it was always overfuelling (cold start mode). Stopped in a petrol station, then flooded when I tried to start it.
Following advice, I started it by taking out the fuel pump fuse, starting it, then replacing the fuse before it died.
The permanent fix was the new sensor of course, just a few quid, here's hoping your fix is as simple and straightforward!

Ok let's try.
You will see inside the fuse box small fuses around the edge, and an array (3x5) of larger boxes in the middle. Relays, I think? Anyway that's what I took out.
The corner nearest you as you sit in the driver's seat should be a yellow box for the fan.
The next one forward, a bit larger, is the fuel pump.
In the small fuses around the outside, it's also fuse no. 34, which is a 20 amp fuse, according to the diagram.
Yes fuse 34 is 9 from the end, if the spare fuse is still in the end slot.
Ok let's try.

Something else is happening too..
I have noticed a clicking noise coming from the fuse box recently.
It appears to be the yellow relay clicking for the fan, so swapped the 2 yellow relays over, the other one was for dipped beam.
Funny thing is there is still a clicking noise coming from the swapped relay for the fan, and it may be a complete coincidence but when it clicks it also shows EFI fault on the screen.
Shall i buy new relays? and could this also mean there is something wrong with the board?

Sorry Mossy but you are now at the point where I took mine to the garage for diagnosis!

If it starts fine from stone cold, say tomorrow morning, then it could be the same as mine.
Does it just say EFI fault, or does it give you a letter?
As Nrick says, you need to connect it up (or find a man who can) to find out what is happening.
I think it will probably reveal that the car is allergic to B+Q.
How many bags of cement can you get in the boot, anyway?

I would check the 100a fuse under the passenger-side carpet, as it may be cracked and causing the ignition relay to cut out momentarily.
Failing that, as has been mentioned, it's laptop time.
It's possible the service may have dislodged or damaged a plug or a sensor (the coolant temp. is next to the oil filter), so 1/2 hour removing the bonnet / airbox may prove fruitful.
Do you have a laptop and the software?

Have a laptop but no software or connecting lead. I guess best try and purchase in the week.Failing that, as has been mentioned, it's laptop time.
