How lucky - Thailand carbomb
Discussion
Was that a bottle of piss rolling on the floor near the end?
I'm going to sound incredibly ignorant now, but I didn't know this sort of thing happened in Thailand. In a related news story they casually mentioned that 90 people died in protests/riots last year. I don't remember them reporting it at the time and yet they never stopped talking about the riots in Greece or in France a year or two ago.

It's the 'religion of peace' insurgency in the south that has killed hundreds of people over the last few years. Even in the rest of Thailand we don't hear much about this, I think it's something they would rather keep quiet.I'm going to sound incredibly ignorant now, but I didn't know this sort of thing happened in Thailand. The protests in Bangkok last year were totally unrelated, and I doubt if this car bomb is anything to do with them.
But it is a colourful country with much more violence than it gets credit for
As someone else mentioned this is southern Thailand, the border with Northern Malaysia. It gets very little press anywhere but hundreds get killed each year, it's a bit of a northern / southern ireland type thing with the Thai's (Buddhist) and Malays (muslim)
