Hi, I have tickets to see Foo Fighters tomorrow and i have done nothing to prepare and last time I went to the bowl was to see Guns N Roses in '92!!

Is it really a massive pain in the whatsit to driver there and back from Gatwick or am i being a massive pussy?

Hey, I might see you there!! I'm going, and I'm driving although I also left it too late to sort out parking (was going to book a space on someone's driveway courtesy of parkatmyhouse) as apparently parking there is a nightmare.

Still, I'd rather be in my nice warm car than in the cold waiting for a train & then mucking around with taxi's at the other end.

yes Supported by The Cult.

I was there an' all.

Given it was almost 20 years ago, I've no idea if the parking's changed biggrin But for what it's worth, the carpark was "next door" to the Bowl and only took about 5 minutes to walk from.

We swapped traffic jam tales in the office today ..

I suffered huge jams from Goodwood FOS (luckily on motorbike smile ) but team mate
went to see Foo at the bowl.

He got home at 2am Sunday and his mates who left at the same time got home at 6am on Sunday .. the difference being one had traffic avoidance on his sat nav.

I think I can win this one:

2nd June picked up by my mate, drove from Poole to Milton Keynes. Awesome gig etc etc. Got home at 530am due to traffic on M1. 630am picked up by another mate, spent the whole day in Goodwood, quite a bit of traffic. Got home at 19:50 last night, watched last weeks Top Gear and most of this weeks on I Player... and finally went to bed! Worth every fking second!

The amount of rubbish left on the side of the road while I drove into work this morning (I go past the Bowl) was a sight to behold! It was everywhere!
