your thoughts on silicone

I was thinking of getting a bit of colour in the engine bay to compliment the current colour scheme and found these on ebay.

I know they are pretty generic, and possibly not all hoses will be relevant to the V6 tasmin, but even a few of the hoses changed would be an improvement, especially as it looks like the current black hoses are nearing their life, a bottom hose disaster a few months back revealed cracking and flaring of the ends on pretty much all hoses.

They also do a V8 rover kit for remote oil filter movement, again, Im not sure how relevant it will be to our cars.

Perhaps an invite to BBWF would be a start?

Hi Mate..You are probably aware that it does say that they are Air and Fuel hoses..Not water..I was intending on replacing my hoses but the kit is £200 and some of the rad hoses at the front require the bonnet to be taken off..Ziga

Yeah but when shes old they wont be saggy..And she will be fun at the seaside if you ever need a lilo or a nap as they are very comfortable to sleep on..Plus you could always lift one up and shade yourself under it from the sun.

Andy..I think you are confusing it with the automated "silly cone" which was going to be left in the parking area at BBWF to shout confusing directions to incoming wedges..
