Any recommendations for make/model or any features to look out for?

Many thanks

I've got a Bergen leakdown tester, and it works fine but only uses 30psi test pressure, other more expensive makes use 100psi which makes it much easier to identify where the air is leaking from.

Now I'm confused.
I've never used a leak down tester but assumed it was a tool we should have in our workshop.

Do I assume from the lack of responce that it's not worth having one?

For its specific use, one of the best tools you can have. I use an older version single gauge type Snap-On one. Would not be without it. Very simple to use, though it's a tool familiarity and experience with can give you better information depending on the nature of the problem (if one). Or how tight an engines cylinder seal (assuming no known problem).
