Yes I am (pm only), first time with the g4 on track, shame it looks like it will be pissing down with rain- and at the last check (BBC) hail!

Ignore that, the weather looks better than it did, 20% chance of a shower, see you in the afternoon.

well, weather man got it wrong way round, rain thunder and hail in the morning with a couple of showers in afternoon, at times one 1/2 of the circuit you need a boat the other 1/2 slicks.............

Hi guys, I saw you all today, I was in thr green TVR. Scary in the wet, did a 360 at the corner before the mountain. Great day though.

Saw you all. Rachel and I were in the red S2 Elise. At one point I thought I'd need a sea anchor to slow down enough for Coppice. I swear I could feel the front of the car lift about an inch as the tyres gave up clearing water and just rose up on top of it.

When the sun dried the track out it was brilliant. I'm now being accused of shredding Rachel's front tyres whistle

Despite the showers it was a great day; really friendly people and only one short stoppage - commiserations to the Renaultphile involved

Cheers

My thoughts to, I'm a track day regular, yesterday was probably one of if not the most enjoyable I had attended due in the main the calibre of people attending, very friendly atmosphere superb driving and mirror watching by everyone I encountered and an absolute minimum of stoppages considering the 2/3 deluges we had and then the odd shower that only wet a small section of the lap I was amazed.

The Renault aquaplaned off directly in front of me, I had just waved him through as I was slowing due to the sudden downpour, whilst I also offer commiserations it was avoidable I'm afraid.

Just thought Id Add a few words echoing those sentiments above, this was my first trackday in the G4, and my first time at cadwell. I was really impressed by the organisation of this day, the friendly atmosphere and approachability of the other drivers. I always knew I would be one of the slower drivers as was on crap tyres in a car that Im really yet to familiarise with, however there was no cutting me up and you all allowed me the space I needed!
Appologies to those drivers stuck behind me who had to suffer clouds of tyre smoke and burning oil at one stage- got it sorted in the end and had an absolute blast; Ill definitely be back soon.
