Nissan Murano / Pathfinder

Anyone got any comments on these cars ?

thinking about one for the misses

need something that can pull jet ski's

does not need to be constant 4x4 part time is best

needs to run nice on motorways rather than a full off roader

Pathfinder - Not as economical as they should be.
Murano - Same engine as the 350Z.

Somebody else will be along with something actually useful soon. :-)

No experience of the Murano, but Boss has a Pathfinder and a Navara.

They have nice powerful engines, around 170 BHP I think and a very grunty. Woeful fuel cosumption though, expect low 20s on a mixed driving. Will cruise quite happily past three figures. (Not that I'd know Officer)

Comfy things to be in, not the best steer, brakes are pretty poor and interior quality could be better.

It'll manage Jet Skis with ease, we use the Boss' to lug round a twin axle trailer with Oil Tanks and various building materials with ease.

Not a bad spec list on the top model, Sat Nav, Climate, Reversing Camera and electric seats.

They're not as roomy inside as they should be, possible engine/diff concerns as per Navara.

What's your budget? Stretch to a D3?

Just swapped the good lady's RX for a new shape Murano and it is exceptionally nice.

It is the 3.5V6 with the CVT gearbox, every conceivable toy and a joy to drive. It is averaging 25mpg and that is mostly around town driving.

I would say the new shape one is a significant improvement on the old one.
