Not another what car?

For years the wife and I have always driven cars that have been around 10 years old. We've had some interesting vehicles, but nothing particularly new (except a few company cars). However, we're now at the point where we have disposable income and maybe could afford a car a little newer than we're used to.

Insurance isn't a problem (38, 10yrs no claims, 0 points, nice area) and neither is mpg - we do around 8k miles a year. However, something RWD, a bit of poke to it and less than 3 years old would be nice. Moneywise, we'd be looking at around £5k deposit plus upto £1k a month. Rather (eventually) own than lease.

Any suggestions?
