Has anybody managed to fit a CANAM with dry sump as well as aircon?

Why would this be different than with a GTR?

As far as I am aware it is not possible to mount alternator etc at the top on a Canam as is done normally on a GTR when you have drysump. I have alternator aircon and drysump pump to drive.

Surprised, I thought the room would be the same. The factory oil tank down by the gearbox is really convenient.

I do not have room to fit one there Stuart. Prob because I fitted some of my EFI stuff there. Also I have an electric water pump so getting drive to that position is not easy. Think I might be stuck with my accusump.

Mark,

Thinking out loud.... I have some space onn the right hand side and one solution we use on Pantera's to eliminate the engine intrusion into the cab and get a flat firewall is mounting a dual drive pulley on the AC compressor and running the alternator off of that with them side ny side.

Good luck,
Julian
