...how does it work? Excuse my ignorance, but if the paint comes ready mixed, how do the single colours shine through from different angles/lighting conditions? Do the green particles for example, all settle facing the same way, and the purple ones another? confused

Oh yeah, here's the paint:

Yes, and not impressed !

Supplied paint code (which I know is correct because I've had an aerosol made using it and was a good match)but paint he supplied was a country mile out and it was nothing fancy just a straight forward Brooklands Racing Green, not even a metallic.

So, ok anything can go wrong, but I week later still no reply to my polite email asking him to try again or refund money.

Anybody want a little pot of bright green paint?

Can't comment on that trader or even how the paint works, however I used these guys and the touchup paint match is very good on stone chips etc. in fact even on the small(ish) chip I took out the corner of the roof after stupidly knocking it against the RSJ in my garage furious

Problem with TVR colours is they don't always match the spec. I'd suggest contacting Surface and Design in Blackpool. Run by ex-TVR employees and they have acess to a lot of the factory build records which accurately specify the paint mix used, especially important for the cascade and other complex colours.

Thanks for the heads-up guys.

Will make enquiries else where!

ETA: The International Colours website seems really good. Got choice of spray, aerosol and touch up paint for reflex charcoal at reasonable prices smile

I'd like to add a comment about International Colours. I sent an e-mail to them yesterday morning to ask if they could send me a pot of Reflex Charcoal by overnight delivery as it was needed for today. Richard Hoyland was superb and actually sent out the delivery to me before having received payment so that it would not be late. Now that is what I call service and great that he was prepared to respond so positively.
