Managed to get hold of a trade card for Brewers and was thinking about using their own Albany paint to redecorate the house with - It seems to be a lot cheaper than the usual Dulux / Crown stuff (approx £12 for 2.5l compared to approx £18 for the same in Dulux/Crown), so was wondering if you are getting what you pay for in this instance, or if it is actually any good.

Anyone used it?

It is as good as the two you mention.

The emulsion is o.k. for the price but the undercoat and gloss can be a bit thin. I would not touch Crown even if they paid me. Always had trouble with it on the few times i used it.

Used the emulsion, undercoat primer and gloss many times. The emulsion is as good as any other but requires a slightly different technique to Dulux or Sanderson, both are which are a bit heavier. The gloss is great too but you need to do good prep including undercoating. I have rolled it onto big flat doors and the finish is very good and it brushes on well too.
