Quick Eunos Roadster advice needed

Been offered a Eunos Roadster 1.6 with a hardtop for £800. bodywise seems immaculate and seems to drive okay. It has 12 Months MOT but no tax and has a tear in the standard softtop window but the hardtop is mint.

Firstly does £800 seem like a good price?

Secondly Are there any common faults I should look out for?

I need to decide by tomorrow wether to buy it as I am going on holiday Wed Morn for 2 weeks and he is going to advertise it in the next few days if I dont want it. Plan was to buy it and let my dad drive it for a bit and then sell on hopefully without losing any money.

A hard top is about £400 in the winter, so you have little to lose.

Do it, if the body work is as good as you say then buy it. Mechanical bits are really really cheap for them so you don't need to worry about that.

sounds like a big yes then but just got some persuading to do as my mum is already annoyed at me having 2 cars on the drive a third is causing quite a stir!

just picked it up. what a fun little car. Will start a journal alongside my other cars in the readers section once I am back from holiday as off to spain for 10 days tomorrow going to get the soft top repaired then sell the hardtop

What colour is the hard top? I may be interested depending on this, cost and where you are.
