330d broken clutch
Discussion
My 2001 330d had done 130k and the clutch has suddenly failed, its not sliping but won't disengage enough to allow you to change gear. With the pedal half depressed it disengages just enough for the car not to move but then when pressed all the way down it starts to re-engage and the car moves! I haven't looked under the car yet but the pedal feels good so I doubt it's the slave cylinder, does this sound like a broken diaphragm perhaps? I'm going to attempt doing the job myself and am on the look out for torque figures for the pressure plate and all related bolts. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Changed the clutch yesterday and it was the diaphragm, Its all good except the biting point has moved much closer to the floor. I would have expected the slave cylinder to take up the extra travel in the release arm as the fingers of the diaphragm are now further away as a result of fitting a new clutch? Someone mentioned some kind of adjustment at the pedal? I don't want to start messing with pedal stops until I'm sure in case I push the clutch too far over centre. Any advice would be appreciated.
