How dee do, have been around on here for a while and have stuck stuff in the Yank Motors section but I know not a lot of people read that so figured I stick some pics in here too. I used to have a e39 540i with some mods and a monster exhaust but it blew the heads so went on ebay for a few hundred quid - according to the DVLA its been taxed again tho so at least its still running. So instead got a 2004 Lincoln Nav as my daily driver - with LPG conversion, massive set of tires and a full set of coil overs instead of the poor stock air ride, plus the obligatory K&N, remap etc - running 312 HP on LPG and 349 on Petrol.

Plus as a toy a 1984 Corvette (which I've had since I was 23, coming up on 12 years now) - heavily modified. Belt line removed and filled - full custom hand airbrushing, set of 19" DOTZ predators, TV in dash, Upgraded brakes, Hypertech chip, K&N, bigger throttle bodies, X-ram induction, hand made stainless exhaust 4 into 2 true dual system. and 600watt of ice. Making just short of 283 BHP (pretty good for a crossfire so i'm told) Also found out that its one of only 6 listed on the DVLA site as an 84 (tho there are 15 or so 83's which don't exist) of which only 3 are taxed for use on the road - so it was pretty rare before it got modded smile

Before the wheels went on

Hood up showing the storm scene

Close up

Rear with minimal airbrushing and the belt line filled

Sensor fault caused a bit of a pain - cheap enough to fix tho - just had to get towed home frown

And my daily linc

between em theres 11.1 litres - guess that its a good thing I work for an oil company LOL smile

Looks a bit like the lacquer is lifting on your bonnet. Sorry.

I mean, 'Midnight Storm'....Really?

Obviously I have to disagree there smile The storm scene and the midnight blue paint gave it the name, the laquer ain't lifting its the shape of the bonnet and the white flex are just a bit of dust from the roof of the garage smile Besides its a bit different from a mondeo or astra smile The linc is my 3rd V8 and is a daily driver - it will be pounding almost 20k a year, the car it replaced was a 330 brake 5 series which was covering about the same and saw a fair bit of track action. ITs pretty musch go anywhere with the tyres, 4 wheel drive "Advance Track" Plus heavy duty coil overs instead of the weak air ride it used to have - plus it'll seat 7 in perfect comfort with as much leg room in the third row as the second and still hit 60 in around 8 seconds even on LPG smile - Plus the bonnet starts at about roof level of most normal UK cars so you get a comanding view and people tend to get out of the way too smile

Not a fan of the 'vette at all but horses to their courses etc.

Love the Navigator, a mates brother has a black Navigator and that is something different although obviously drives like a typical yank barge but hey !!

Yup, would prefer stock looks too. Two different motors though, and that's a good thing!!! smile

Like them both. Navigator is cool, and I fecking love Corvettes! Although as said above, would look better in black on the wheels in the second pic IMO.

Each to their own though, and it looks like it's had a good job done smile

Few more pics of the Naivgator - interior is cavernous smile

Second row of seats - proper recliners with plenty of space

Third row of seats very comfortable with plenty of leg room - no bother fitting 3 adults in there.

Then at the touch of a button they fold to this :-

I think it looked better with the original wheels to be honest, more original.

I could take or leave the paintwork but I don't think it looks bad.
