Looks huge! The new F10 is longer than the original 7 series, and while it is a very nice shape it can't hide it is pushing almost 5 metres. Good snap, btw!

saw it at goodwood, looks great and actually hides it size well if its actually bigger than a 7 series?

Looks fairly compact to me.

Will they be makign the touring version of the M5 again, I have a M5 tourer and if they brought one out on this version I might be tempted, if not I wouldnt mind trading in for the newer M5 nice colour car aswell

No F10 M5 Tourer planned. BMW have said 'NO! DEFINATELY NOT!' But things do change.

Looks like they've FINALLY put decent brakes on an M5. Thank the Lord.

I'm sure I'll come to like it like the E60, but that first photo really shows the stubb nose of the new generation of cars that I am struggling with.

At Goodwood I did kind of like the way the front tyre is so proud of the sill when viewed from the side/rear.
I like it generally, pretty poor show from the staff on their stand though, couldnt get to talk to anyone for over ten minutes so wandered off. Shame really.

in the picture is that an X5 it is next to as it looks to be quite a bit longer than the X5?

The E60 M5 and E70 X5 are practically identical in length. The F10 M5 is 60mm longer than both, so about about 2.5".

Where've you heard that? Quicker by a long way around the Ring is the suggestion - sub-8 minutes.

Was skimming some mag, seemed the top end was lower? But maybe quicker by 0.2 to 60 or something?

Impressive ring time though.

They'll be confused, because the E60 was never officially available delimited, but was said to make 205 mph. The F10 is available with a limiter set at about 190 mph, but it's still a limiter.
