I have seen one, a couple of years ago at the VSCC New Year Trial at Brooklands, parked in the car park (where else?), from a long way off I said to Mrs Huntsman, ooh, what's that, almost looks like a Monteverdi, and there is was.

They really are stunning cars, still have yet to set my eyes on one.

It's a marque I've had a soft spot for since I was a child, they were generally useful cars to have in a hand of Top Trumps!

The only one I've ever seen in the metal turned up at the Auto Italia Magazine Spring Festival in May 2008.

A couple of friends I was with couldn't understand what I was so excited about!

There was an abandoned 375L by Leytonstone tube station, in the mid-80s. Used to walk past it each morning to work. Side windows were smashed and eventually I saw it being trailerred away one morning by a council lorry.

Stunning car, the interior is classic "niche" compromise. That great carbuncle in the middle being the air-con. Had they a bigger development budget I'm sure it would have been better integrated into the dashboard, the engine sits well back in the bay though.

I'd rather have a Jensen Interceptor, in mint condition with uprated brakes and suspension. Prettier, same engine, and on the roads almost as rare a sight.

There is a concours condition one parked in my underground car park, in brown with cream leather piped dark brown. Proper '70's cad car. I love it.

From the front it is VERY much like the TVR Trident, of which only 4 or 5 were ever built.
