Looks good Steve, can't wait to see it dancing through the lanes.
Has the Clio gone now then?
It's still outside and recently spat oil all over the drive in protest at not being driven for a while. That's getting the 197 engine with throttle bodies in it's new owner's hands which will be nice. Here's the list from the original eBay ad, since then it's had an Apexi ECU, new injectors, coil packs, a remap, carbon airbox. Then the 2.5 engine got sick, a 2 litre unit with forged internals is going in next week whilst the 2.5 is out, fate to be decided although I will have some forged pistons for that so it could end up going back in:Has the Clio gone now then?

Car looks ace Steve.
I wouldnt have the standard 4pots on a scooby running more tahn 300bhp. Get looking on ebay for a Set of P1 prodrive Alcon Calipers.Car looks ace Steve.

It's so long since I drove it I really can't remember what the brakes are like, I think they were OK, the ABS didn't work but the tuning guy managed to sort that out, it was missing the sensors on the wheels or something. What this car needs is a bigger turbo (it still has the original albeit a recon' one) and a remap after bolting it on, all pretty easy stuff, just need to justify the expense..

I'm intrigued by that comment. We've had our own Scooby for nearly 11 years now and for about 9 of those years we've been running over 350bhp out of it. We've still got the bog std 4 pots on there, albeit we have bigger discs and not once have I felt the need to have different calipers. Not looking to pick a fight or anything, I'm just wondering why you felt 4 pots wouldn't be any good?

4pots on a Classic are of the same standard of the 4 pots on a Newage WRX. Not looking to pick a fight or anything, I'm just wondering why you felt 4 pots wouldn't be any good?
I had a Newage WRX for 3 years, and when pushed hard the 4 pots couldnt cope with a 300Bhp Newage Impreza.
They may be ok on a Classic wioth is lower weight but why spend £1000s on Engine mods and Leave the Brakes/Suspension standard!
