silver fronted stereo

I have looked for and failed to find a replacement stereo unit for my Chimaera with a sliver front . I have a stainless steel dash and would like to match in the header unit.All I ever see are black these days .Ideally ipod compatability also. Anyone with suggestions ?

I have put a sony CDX MR60ui into my Chimaera. Took me for ever to find a silver fronted stereo, a mate in the boat trade showed me this one.

Despite it being "marine" its standard size and uses all the standard connectors you'd expect.

Do a search on tinterweb and you'll find it.

Any good?

I have an Alpine CDE-9852 in mine, silver front, pretty good with iPod funtions. It is discontinued now, but the replacement looks like CDE-9882Ri - silver front, iPod, USB - very similar.

How about a Telefunken Classic 30 ?
Perhaps not as compatible as you'd want with certain colour schemes, but in others, it can look pretty neat!
