First off I'm new here, a friend told me about this place. I'm a 3d modeler, and its really sad that there are not a lot of 3d TVRs for use in games. I recently really became a lover of the Cerbera Speed 12 and I would just love to make one.

I hope that I got this in the right forum, I couldn’t think of anywhere else. I’ve been searching high and low across the internet for a side view of the Cerbera Speed 12, and there is just not one, got a couple that comes close, but for modeling I need a proper side view. I typed in Cerbera on Google and just went through seeing what images it brought back yesterday, and today I just typed in TVR to see what it brought back.

But yesterday I learned about the model company SMTS who made a road car model and Racing model. It is the racing model I'm interested in. What I need to model is a side view, front view, back view and a top view if it’s possible. I saw image of the instructions that go to the Speed 12 model and it had blueprint type plans for the Cerbera Speed 12. Ok now I come to the question, (after this long post.

Does anyone have the Racing SMTS Cerbera Speed 12 model and if so do they have the Diagram view that comes with it, if so could they please scan the diagram in for me? If you can’t its ok, I just wanted to model one and thought this place could help me out.

If anyone does have it and can scan it my email is Harvey_C@bellsouth.net Thank you and best regards.

I can't help with a model (wish I could!) but there are some virtual racing Cerberas out there.

The Speed Six racer is featured here:
www.pistonheads.com/tvr/cerbera/default.asp?storyId=7050

While plans for a Speed 12 are mentioned here:
www.hlgornertvr.co.uk/gallery2.html

The model you mention is this I guess?

I assume you have also seen this page?

Finally, these people used to make a Speed 12 model, but I don't think it's in production now.

The car was photographed and sound recorded for a video game about 8 months ago.

Not sure when and where it will appear, I'll try to find out.

Hi thanks for the quick reply. About MMCars didnt know they made one at one time, I went to there site but I dont think I found anything on my search. The amazing43 review I went there as well and I even emailed the guy who reviewed it, but have not gotten word bak yet. I know of 2 games that have the Cerbera Speed 12 in it, GT3 and Gotham Racing 2. However I want to make this for a usermade car for a game. Here is some of my work, they dont have a texture, therefore no doorlines right now (some of them dont). But if I can get a hold of the prints I will definitly build one, and even show it here while I build it if you guys like. I also plan on building a regular Cerbera as well. Basically what I did was first just search for SMTS on google and another search engine. Then I went to the SMTS site looked at there agents as they call them and searched to see if they had a site. Most came up as null, a few had it though. There is even a model on ebay right now of the Speed12 Racing car, but no reply from that guy either yet. Here is the link with some of my work.

Try www.tvr-cerbera.com

Under community/MultiMedia, there is a short Speed 12 video clip. JC gets it nicely sideways. Not sure if you'll get measurements off it, but its worth a quick look anyway. Might be of help - iof so GCerbera may have a higher res version??
