So our new (to us) 56 plate M6 arrived.

Bought as an AUC car.

I registered online and they have activated BMW assist, allowing amongst other things sending an address to the Nav from google on the pc.

Given the car is 5 years old, and nobody has asked for £££, can I assume the first owners never registered for this service???

Maybe BMW do a free trial for new owners in the hope they get hooked on it and carry on paying for it.

When I bought my AUC M6, I got 6 months free. Then you have to stump up the £120 pa.

Thanks. I guess I will just have to wait and see what happens in 6 months!

I bought an ex demo, registered it with BMW Assist when the car was 6 months old, and now more than 3 years later have never been charged. It still works too smile

Does anyone actually use it, even if they've got it?

Sending an address to the car from google maps I use all the time.
