My car is embarassingly loud, which wouldn't be a problem if I was actually going somewhere....

I will never put an exhaust on a car again.

It isn't good when my car is screaming away and a lady in her diesel hatchback with her shopping in it silently blazes past me

Only good sound it makes is the snap'crackle and pop on the overrun. Otherwise its a pretty muted I-4 with a turbo whistling away.

They vary, it can be either the whine of a supercharger, the howl of V6 or the screaming of NA I4.

Mine sounded ace, unbelievable suck from the turbo, would ingest small children if they were too close, I then went and stuck a straight through exhaust and decat on. It sounds awful....i hate it, i cant hear my turbo, i can only just hear my wastegate chirp at me. The only good thing is it pops on gear changes which for me induces an erection and on the over run it likes to scare war veterans and scorch the bumper of the guy behind.

Deffo need to find an intermediate exhaust.

X1 - diesel 4 pot, sounds rubbish
E280 - streight six, sounds glorious
BMW R1200S - Fruity! pops and bangsd on over run, otherwise flat on accel.
